About Me

Sarah
Hi, my name is Sarah. I live in Leith, Edinburgh with my kitten, Ada and hundreds of travel books. I am passionate about travel and feel it is in my blood, after all the human race is a migratory species! It makes us more open-minded and creative and teaches us not just about other cultures, but about ourselves. It has long been said that “travel broadens the mind” and there is no doubt about that, it makes us value what we have at home a lot more and makes us want to reach out to those less fortunate than ourselves. Like travel, fundraising for charity opens us up to other people and different situations, it tests our problem solving and tenacity and pushes us to face our fears and accomplish things we could only dream of. Over the years I have always tried to push the boundaries, and what could be better than an incredible adventure whilst raising funds for a great cause? With the Great Wall of China ticked off I have set Macchu Picchu as this year’s physical challenge. With a “Can-Do” attitude anything is possible! x
